This sample exhibits very typical sativa characteristics with loosely-spaced calyxes, yet still with good density and structure. Photomicroscope reveals very well developed and fully filled trichome heads indicating excellent growth conditions and minimal post-harvest handling, this specimen is of exquisite condition.

Smell is in the mostly high range, bright and crisp on the slow draw with an underlying note of earthiness that becomes more apparent on a fast inhale. Taste is clean and sharp in the mid-high range with a bright sweet spiciness, notes of pine, wood, and freshly cut leaves with a beautiful earthy finish that reminds of beams of sunlight catching on leaves in dense forests with rich mossy soil underfoot, truly delightful.

High is phenomenal, potent, and wondrously cerebral, completely uplifting and full of energy without narcotic effect. Best morning strain I’ve ever come across, puts more pep in my step than a great cup of coffee, perfect for all times of day and for all tolerance levels, a must try.

This strain is a market rarity as it requires no less than 14 weeks of flowering to reach full maturity and as a nearly pure sativa variety this plant takes up a lot of space (these ladies were nine feet!). Most growers simply don’t have the patience to attempt this strain, let alone provide it the immaculate care given by this grower. This extraordinary specimen was first selected for phenotype from seed, and then clones were flowered a full 16 weeks in organic soil and flushed for the last 21 days with only water. The ash color on this sample is a pure white and completely soft, indicating a complete and total flush of extraneous nutrients and chemicals from the plant tissue, truly a joy to smoke.

This sample came as some very nice chunky buds, thoroughly covered in trichomes and with excellent overall structure courtesy KomaGrows. Unfortunately this sample had been vacuum sealed while the bud was fresh from drying and bud compression was noticeable. Sample obtained was at 74% relative humidity and was desiccated by silica to 58%RH; it was observed that the fuely note of Chemdog became more noticeable at this more suitable humidity level for bud curing.

Smell is overwhelmingly sweet in the low range with an undertone of Chemdog fuel that comes out better once ground. Taste is rich, sweet and low like cotton candy with a note of fuel and a little sour candy.

High is a real creeper, starts out slow and gathers steam over the next hour to finish with a very nice body and head combo. Good for afternoon and evening for high tolerance levels, night time for low tolerance.

This strain is basically the reverse crossing of Sour Diesel, where instead a Chem/Dawg female was accidentally pollinated by a hermaphroditic Massachusetts Super Skunk, but they’re barely alike in any way.
